We’ve all heard the recommendation to drink 8 glasses of water a day, and most of us don’t come close, unless we count our coffee, tea, soft drinks, and energy drinks. Good pure clean water is essential in your efforts to lose weight quickly. Replace your soft drinks and energy drinks with some ice cold refreshing water. You’ll be reducing calories, and giving your body what it really craves. Your body will run more efficiently when it does not need to process all of the additives in the soft drinks. It’s also been proven, drinking diet soft drinks still contributes to weight gain, and increases cravings for other sweets. Make sure in your desire for quick ways to lose weight, that you do not ignore this important strategy.

If you make sure you include some high fiber foods in your diet, your body will cleanse your system more easily, washing out some of the calories that may have otherwise been absorbed. I’d love to see you walk 30 minutes non-stop sometime during the day, but if you can’t do that, find little times during the day when you can add additional miles to your feet. Park a little further from the office, use the stairs instead of the elevator, deliver that message across the office in person instead of sending an email, take a short walk after supper. You get the idea. Making yourself more active is one of best methods in our quick ways to lose weight plan.
